Christine Henly, of Allianz, emerged at the head of a strong field to carry off the IIBA^® UK Chapter’s ‘Business Analyst of the Year’ award for 2011, sponsored by AssistKD. The award was presented by Ivar Jacobson at this year’s Business Analysis Conference Europe in London on 27th September.

The judging panel reported great difficulty in choosing between the finalists who also included Davis Avis, of Barclays Bank, Julie Morley and Katerina Petroulaki, of Lloyds Banking Group, and Andrew Perkins, of Post Office Ltd. In the end, and by a slight margin, Christine was felt to have most effectively matched this year’s themes of ‘working with stakeholders’ and ‘organisational contribution’.
