ISEB Diploma

The ISEB Diploma qualification is based on an oral examination conducted by two ISEB oral examiners. During the oral examination, the examiners are looking for higher level skills (analysis, synthesis and evaluation) applied to subjects that have previously been tested at the application, analysis or comprehension level. This assessment approach is at levels 4/5 within Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Domains.

ISEB does not require any experience prior to taking the oral examination. However, the nature of the oral examination is such that candidates will need to draw on their experience in order to provide acceptable answers to the questions.

The orals last for approximately 50 minutes and a successful oral leads to the award of a Diploma.
