ISEB Practitioner

The ISEB Practitioner qualifications are primarily concerned with application and analysis skills within a relatively narrow subject area. This assessment approach is at levels 3/4 within Bloom’s Taxonomy of Cognitive Domains. Many of the certificates can be combined to provide a basis for Diploma certification. As well as contributing to one or more Diplomas, the certificates are valuable qualifications in their own right.

The need for ISEB Practitioner qualifications to test application and analysis, means that many (but not all) are assessed through open-book scenario-based examinations. Most examinations are one hour long with 15 minutes reading time. Candidates have to achieve a mark of 50% or more in order to pass the examination.
