Skills Framework for the Information Age – SFIA

SFIA Services

The Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) provides a common reference model for the identification of the skills needed to develop effective Information Systems (IS) making use of Information & Communications Technology (ICT). SFIA skills are referenced at the end of each qualification page on this web site. For example, the certificate in Modelling Business Processes supports skills BPRE5, BPRE6, BPRE7, BSMO and INAN.

SFIA enables employers of IT professionals to carry out a range of HR activities against a common framework of reference - including skill audit, planning future skill requirements, development programmes, standardisation of job titles and functions, and resource allocation.

AssistKD specializes in SFIA Consultancy and can offer clients a free initial consultation. AssistKD's accredited SFIA consultants include Paul Turner, James Cadle and Gill Killworth. To find out more call Martin Pearson on 01844 211665 or email enquiries@assistkd.com.
