What is Assist e-learning?

Assist e-learning is the first e-learning package produced solely for Business Analysis training. Written by our experienced trainers, our e-learning courses aim to allow delegates to learn from anywhere in the world at their own pace and in their own way. But what is Assist e-learning?

Flexible course structure

Assist e-learning courses are structured to allow users to learn in a flexible manner at their own pace.

Courses are split into smaller course modules. Within each module, the learner has the opportunity to test their knowledge of the subject with questions, learn the module content and reinforce this knowledge through further questions and take an end of module test – a mock examination on the module content. The order in which the learner does this is down to them; depending on their prior knowledge of the module or how comfortably they learn the content. Assist e-learning’s flexible approach means that learners are free to work in a way that suits them.

Comprehensive and detailed course content

Assist e-learning’s course content is written by our experienced course tutors who bring their years of experience of business and systems analysis tutoring to the product. The course content navigates the syllabus in a logical and structured way, incorporating easy-to-understand diagrams (some interactive) and illustrations.

In addition to the course content itself, each Assist e-learning course contains a further reading section containing detailed material on each module. This allows users to read around each module if there is an area that they do not completely understand or if they just wish to learn more about the subject.

Questions to test and reinforce learning

As mentioned above, each Assist e-learning course contains over 200 questions designed to test and reinforce knowledge at all stages of the learning process. These questions are written by experienced accredited examiners and provide valuable practice into how examination questions are structured – allowing learners to feel comfortable with them in anticipation of the examination proper.

Special access to AssistKD tutors

As well as access to the course itself, a subscription to Assist e-learning also comes with special access to our experienced course tutors. Traditionally, e-learning has failed when compared to traditional course because of the lack of tutor or peer support. Assist e-learning has dedicated tutor email support which goes some way to bridge this gap. Learners can ask any questions to our course tutors and discuss all aspects of the course itself to make sure that they have fully understood the material.

Fully accredited courses

Further to being written by accredited and experienced tutors, Assist e-learning’s Foundation in Business Analysis course is the first e-learning course to be accredited by BCS. This accreditation serves to reinforce the quality of the product and provides additional peace of mind to users.
