AssistKD were engaged to establish a capability framework and develop job descriptions for a relatively new business analysis practice.
Within a two month period AssistKD delivered a business analysis capability framework with four levels of role and accompanying job descriptions. The job descriptions incorporated an outline of the role, areas of responsibility and the required professional skills and behaviours. In addition we designed and produced a Candidate Information Pack, suitable for external recruitment.
The framework provides the basis for:
- improved evaluation of BA capability
- identification of BA development needs
- clearly defined career progression and more motivated staff
- closer engagement and alignment of BA resources
- clarity of BA performance requirements to all stakeholders
