2017's BA of the Year reflects on what the award has meant to her

Posted by AssistKD News Editor

This week we caught up with Mayuri Gupta, who, at The BA Europe Conference in September, was announced as the winner of the 2017 Business Analyst of the Year Award. When we asked her to sum up what impact the award had had on her role as a Business Analyst she commented; "Winning the BA of the year 2017 award has been a massive achievement and a boost not only to my confidence but also to the confidence a new colleague has in my abilities as a Business Analyst. It has almost fast tracked that process for me. Not to mention the massive networking opportunity it brings along with it!"

Winning the 2017 award has brought great benefits to Mayuri's BA career and in 2018 another BA will benefit from winning this much coveted award. Could it be you? If you believe that you've met the criteria below then you should apply now.

In 2018 The Business Analyst of the Year Award 2018 will be given to the person who has demonstrated the most significant contribution in three key areas:

Exploring options:

  • when have you identified and evaluated different options to meet business needs?

Analysing requirements:

  • how have you elicited and analysed requirements to uncover tacit knowledge or clarify business rules?
