The winner of the Business Analyst of the Year Award 2026 has been announced. Hannah Burbridge, Senior Business Analysis Manager at National Centre for VAWG and Public Protection, excelled in all of this year’s criteria: Investigation, Behavioural change and Ethics.

On Day 1 of the Business Analysis Conference Europe 2026, Carlos Pullen-Ferreira, Principal Consultant at AssistKD, hosted the award ceremony. The award was presented by keynote speaker Caroline Criado Perez.

Given the outstanding quality of applications received, eight finalists were chosen, the same number as in 2025. All demonstrated excellence throughout both the application and interview process, leaving a strong impression on the judging panel.

The judges said of Hannah:

An engaging and inspiring role model within Policing, Hannah is passionate about promoting Business Analysts across her organisation and nationally. Empathetic and approachable, she demonstrates an exceptional awareness of her work environment and is not afraid to step outside her comfort zone. Alongside her own learning journey, Hannah has impressively developed a national community of over 1,000 analysts, inspiring others to grow their careers and raise the profile of the profession.
