Instead of sending Christmas cards, it is AssistKD’s annual tradition to make donations to charities which brighten the lives of children and young people.

Thame Roundtable organises the Santa Sleigh Run fundraising event, run entirely by volunteers. In the lead up to Christmas, Santa Claus travels on a sleigh around Oxfordshire towns and villages – delighting children and raising significant funds for many deserving causes. A Santa Tracker allows families to follow Santa’s progress in real time.

Lord Williams’ Young Carers pays for regular meet ups, fun activities, and days out for young people who care for family members at home. This year, AssistKD’s donation will be used to fund two specific respite activities – the hire of a ‘gaming bus’, and a ten-pin bowling trip.

Finally, AssistKD employees dressed up on Christmas Jumper Day, helping to raise money for Save the Children.
