Our eLearning products are purchased on a subscription basis. This means that you have unlimited access to the product for the length of time that you have purchased.

All of our subscriptions last for 180-days and, on average, there are around 30 hours of learning time in each course.

Once you have purchased an eLearning course, it will be added to your account. You can then choose a commencement date to begin your course. Our subscriptions run from the commencement date until 180 concurrent days after that date.

This depends on the course that you have learnt. The table below shows how the exams can be taken for each of our online courses. Please note that our Business Acceptance Testing course does not lead to an exams.

All of our courses contain comprehensive tutor audio to further explain the course content and to help our users who prefer to learn audibly.

In some courses, such as Foundation in IS Project Management, the audio will not play automatically, and is therefore completely optional. This is a conscious decision taken by us guided by the content of the syllabuses for these courses. The syllabus content for these courses covers a wide variety and broad range of topics but refrains from going into a great deal of detail about each area. This means that the audio is primarily there for learners who feel a certain area may need further explanation to properly understand it, or simply just want to learn more about the topic.

In some other courses, such as Business Analysis Practice and Requirements Engineering, the audio plays automatically and is coupled with video. This is because we believe that these courses require further explanation from our experienced tutors for users to fully understand and apply each section. The examinations for these courses focus on the participant's application of their knowledge on business scenarios and not solely on remembering the content of the syllabus. Our feedback from users indicated to us that audio really helped them understand and apply the concepts learnt to the scenarios. The audio is, of course, still optional and users can use a seek bar to skip to the end of sections where required.

The decision whether to go for eLearning or the more traditional training course is one which is entirely dependent upon your learning style, motivation and budget.

If you are someone who prefers to talk things over with our experienced course tutors, learn as a group and can take time off work for 2 or 3 days of training course, then AssistKD's physical courses are for you.

However, if you are someone who prefers to work at their own pace and in their own time, who prefers to learn in a flexible manner from different locations then eLearning might be more appropriate for you. eLearning is a great way to structure your learning of a course around a busy lifestyle or a limited budget, dipping in to the course when and where you wish.

All eLearning users have access to a dedicated email address which enables them to contact an experienced course tutor with any questions they may have about the course. We're aware that this is one of the key aspects that is lost from a more traditional course and are determined to retain the personal service that we have provided on our courses for many years.

The eLearning courses closely follow the structure of both our existing training courses and the syllabuses.

Each course is broken up into modules - a chunk of course content that is independent to the others. The modules within each course can vary from around 6 modules to 14 modules, dependant on how the course is structured.

Each module is then broken down into sections of content. These sections form the "chapters" of each module and are arranged logically to guide the learner through the course. Included in each module are multiple choice questions, which help the learner reinforce their knowledge of the content that they have just covered. In our courses that lead to written examinations, practice scenario questions are also included.

Please note however that our courses do vary in content and structure. For example, some courses feature pre-module tests. To find out more about the structure of your chosen course, head to the specific course page.

Yes - many! Each course contains multiple choice questions which you can use to reinforce your learning or gauge how much you know about a certain section of the content. Our courses that lead to written examinations also contain scenario based questions, similar to the ones that you will encounter in the real examination.

Most courses also contain a sample examination so that the learner can practice the examination before they go on to take it.

All of our questions are written by experienced BCS examiners. This enables users to get a good grip on what the style of questions are that they may face in the exam.
