The latest IIBA Midlands branch event is taking place in Birmingham on 5 June, starting at 6:15pm.

The event is titled Striving for excellence: 'from BA of the Year to BA Ambassador and beyond' and will be hosted by Ian Richards.

Since being named as the IIBA UK Business Analyst of the Year 2016 at the Business Analysis Conference Europe, Ian has been working with authors and thought leaders to help influence the future shape of business analysis.

In this session he will share his personal journey and explain how he used winning the award to progress his career and contribute to the Business Analysis profession. Ian will explain how Business Analysts can get involved in the wider BA community and take full advantage of the opportunities that are within easy reach to improve their professionalism and progress their career.
