This one-day workshop is for anyone with a working knowledge of business process models who wants to know how they can be modelled using the BPMN 2.0 standard. That includes roles involved in developing such models (such as process designers, process engineers and business analysts) as well as those involved in reviewing and implementing them (such as solution developers, process owners, business change managers and other relevant business stakeholders). About the course BPMN 2.0 looks at processes in a more structured way than generic process models such as swimlane diagrams. The course introduces the important concepts behind these structured process models and how to represent them using BPMN 2.0 collaboration diagrams. Learning objectives Upon the completion of this workshop, candidates will be able to demonstrate understanding of and participate in:Scoping business processes as pools.Representing processes that collaborate across organisations and systems.Using the appropriate syntax to correctly represent the rules about different patterns of process flow and control.Take process models to the ‘next level’ that include exception and error handling.Relate business process activities to suitable IT automation and support. How is the course structured? The workshop consists of sessions where concepts and the associated syntax are presented and discussed using realistic examples, reinforced with exercises. Course manual A printed copy of the course manual will be available at the start of a face-to-face course, or be sent to your home address in good time for the start of an online, virtual course. Our delegates tell us that having access to a physical document is beneficial as both a reference document and for taking notes during the course. In addition, a link will be emailed to you to enable you to access an electronic copy of the same manual for convenient future reference. Is there an exam? No. What’s next?
