A successful event launching the
Welsh branch of IIBA UK was held in Cardiff on 15^th January. The
event was hosted by Stratum Worldwide and was sponsored by AssistKD. Two
speakers delivered very interesting presentations:

Sarah Rachel Gait, Business Analyst,
The National Assembly for Wales, spoke about the Project Life-Cycle and the BA,
including the importance of early involvement of business analysts.

Fraser Morris, Independent
Consultant, Sophia Works, discussed the social impact of business change within
organisations.

There was an excellent
attendance and a lot of discussion was generated during the presentations.
Further IIBA events are planned in South Wales.
