AssistKD authors support Henley Business School

On 29th November, AssistKD's Debra Paul and James Cadle presented an interactive session on business cases to a group of students at Henley Business School (part of the University of Reading).

The students were studying for the MSc in Information Management or the MSc in Business Technology Consulting and this module of their courses focuses on the importance of the business case as a key component of effective IS project governance.

The courses use the book Business Analysis (3rd edition), of which Debra and James are co-authors and editors, as one of its texts and so this was a great opportunity for them to present their ideas with the IS professionals of the future.  The session included some lively discussions on the role of the business case, identifying options to address a range of situations, and the relevance of the business case review lifecycle in an environment where agile delivery prevails.
