AssistKD is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring the 'Spirit of Christmas' festive concert again this year. Spirit of Christmas is in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy UK charity, and the event includes carols, readings, choirs and poetry.

It will take place on Thursday 7th December at the Christ Church Centre, 46 Reading Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1AG.

The concert will be followed by a reception with wine and seasonal fare. To avoid disappointment, it is recommended to buy tickets online at http://www.musculardystrophyuk.org/events/henley-spirit-of-christmas/ ; tickets will also be available on the door.

This year there are two new choirs. The children's choir is from Sacred Heart School in Henley. The adult choir is the renowned Tamesis Chamber Choir (pictured below) whose recent appearances have included London's Brandenburg Festival and Cornwall's St Endellion concert series.

Spirit of Christmas offers a great start to the festive season as well as raising funds for an excellent charitable cause.
