It is now an annual tradition for AssistKD to support some of our favourite  charities instead of sending Christmas cards.

AssistKD employees are raising money for Save the Children on Christmas Jumper Day (December 12th). Save the Children helps keep children safe, learning, and healthy in over a hundred countries across the world, including the UK.

Lord Williams’ Young Carers is based in Thame near to AssistKD’s head office. The charity uses donations to pay for regular meet ups, fun activities, and days out for young people who care for close family members at home. As one young carer put it: "It offers me support and time away with friends who understand."

The third charity is the Santa Sleigh Run fundraising event organised by Thame Roundtable made up of local volunteers. Santa Claus travels around Oxfordshire towns and villages on a brightly lit sleigh accompanied by Christmas bells and music, with a Santa Tracker letting children follow Santa’s progress in real time.

The three charities will be brightening the lives of children and young people in the UK and beyond this Christmas.
