Synopsis - This is a joint event between West Yorkshire Branch and PROMS-G.

Whether dealing with a potential conflict or facilitating a desired outcome, what can we do to maximise the chances of success? We often talk about engaging with stakeholders and managing stakeholder relationships but what does this actually mean and is it ever completely possible?

Debra Paul, co-author of The Human Touch, discusses the need to think about the person not the job title and suggests some frameworks and techniques that can help us work successfully with the people we encounter in our professional lives. In this interactive and practical session, Debra will explain the drivers behind producing the book and will explore how we might use some of the approaches in practice, in order to gain insights and handle those tricky situations all too familiar to anyone working to deliver effective business change.

Debra has over 30 years of experience in business analysis and business change. She has worked as a consultant, manager and trainer, and is now managing director of Assist Knowledge Development Ltd.Debra is the co-author and editor of three books: Business Analysis, Business Analysis Techniques and The Human Touch. Debra has worked with numerous organisations to help them develop their business analysis capability.
