Finalists for 2017's AssistKD and IIBA sponsored Business Analyst of the Year Award have just been announced. This year's competition attracted a record numbers of entries from BAs working on a variety of projects and in a wide range of industry sectors. As a result the judging process has proved extremely challenging and narrowing the field to the usual five finalists has proved impossible.  Consequently, eight finalists have been selected and are named below.

• Kayleigh Jarrett – Nationwide
• Marta Korus – Lloyds Banking Group
• Helen Magee – South Gloucestershire Council
• Carlos Pullen-Ferreira – Sage
• Rizwana Qureshi - AstraZeneca.
• Stacey Wade – John Lewis
