The session features AssistKD's Paul Turner. Presentation 1: Business Architecture - Paul Turner FBCS Much has been written about technical and solution architectures, without due attention being given to how these work together with the Business Architecture. It is easy to believe that those who are involved in business analysis, requirements definition and systems modelling do not need to consider the Business Architecture at all. This could not be further from the truth. This talk explains the rationale behind Business Architecture, what its main components are and why Business Analysts should ensure that they understand it and the influence it is likely to have on their work. Presentation 2: Chimps and Change - Chris Rowe CGMA MA Analysts need to deliver change - the work of Prof Steve Peters presented in his book 'The Chimp Paradox' provides an accessible framework for Analysts seeking to maximize the positive impact of the work they do by helping people to to accept change. This presentation will focus the key elements of Prof Peters' work, and will provide the opportunity to discuss their practical application.
