Business Architecture: A comprehensive guide has been named a finalist in the Specialist Business Book category at a major industry book awards. This marks a significant achievement for the authors and publishing team.

The Business Book Awards helps to recognise and celebrate the important contributions that books make to thought leadership. The 2026 competition has attracted a record 340 book entries, an increase of 70 titles compared to the previous year. The growth in submissions reflects the continued strength and diversity of professional and specialist books.

Within the Specialist Business Book category, 27 titles were entered. Business Architecture was selected among the top 12 finalists, placing it firmly among the leading publications in its field.

The overall winners will be announced at a dedicated awards event taking place on Wednesday 16 September, with further details expected to be released in due course.

Author Jonathan Hunsley, AssistKD CEO, welcomed the recognition, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the book.

“The book has been a team effort, and I think we should all feel rightly proud,” he said. “I’m hoping that through being shortlisted we can increase awareness of the Business Architecture profession and help more people upskill in this important discipline. Thank you to everyone that has supported the book.”

The shortlisting represents a notable milestone not only for the book itself, but also for the wider Business Architecture community, helping to shine a spotlight on the discipline and its growing importance within organisations.
