First Amsterdam BA Manager Meeting a huge success

Posted by AssistKD News Editor

We are delighted to report that the inaugural BA Manager Meeting (BAMM) took place at the prestigious de Industrieele Groote Club in Amsterdam on 15th March. The main focus of the evening was a workshop discussion on how business analysts can engage earlier in the change process. This was followed by a an evening drinks reception, during which attendees were able to network and discuss other challenges facing BAs in the Netherlands.

The event was sponsored by Apeldoorn based BA Consultancy and Training company, Le Blanc Advies and is the first of its kind to take place in the  Netherlands. Following the popularity of this event, more meetings are sure to follow.

The BAMM is modelled on the UK BAMF (BA Manager Forum) events that have taken place in the UK since 2009 and are supported by AssistKD. At the Amsterdam event AssistKD's Debbie Paul and Lawrence Darvill were on hand to provide background information on the UK BA Manager Forum and outline the critical success factors that have led to its growth.

A big thank you to our hosts for their hospitality and good luck for future events.
