31 July 2025 Gold Prompt Payment Award for AssistKD Posted by AssistKD News Editor AssistKD has been awarded the Gold Award for prompt payment by the Government’s Small Business Commissioner (OSBC). AssistKD’s Financial Controller Suzanne Ray, and Director of Quality and Compliance Philippa Roll provided evidence and information to the administrative body, and last week received the news that AssistKD achieved the highest award for payment practices. The Department for Business and Trade’s Fair Payment Code sets the standards for best practice. To achieve the Gold Award, a business must pay at least 95% of all invoices within 30 days and abide by the Code’s principles of being ‘Clear, Fair and Collaborative’ with suppliers. These principles tie in with AssistKD’s values, where courtesy, respect, support and collaboration are central.Transparency and fairness in business, with strong working relationships built on trust and respect, benefits both clients and suppliers. Clients can depend on loyalty, high performance and flexibility from their suppliers. Suppliers can concentrate on providing their talents and services to the highest standard. Says Philippa Roll:“As a business, AssistKD recognises the negative impact of late payments on small businesses and the SME sector. We wholeheartedly support the new Fair Payment Code, which protects suppliers and reflects our company values.” Share this page
