UNESCO has proclaimed Saturday 24th January as International Day of Education 2026. The day is an opportunity to reflect on the fact that education and training is a human right which is denied to many.

UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation) aims  to promote inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all to break the poverty cycle and achieve gender equality.
