Success for the AssistKD BA apprentice programme

Posted by AssistKD News Editor

Last week brought news of success for the AssistKD BA apprentice programme. Matthew Cruise, employed by Warner Bros, is the first apprentice in the UK to successfully complete the IS Business Analysis apprenticeship. This is a fantastic achievement for anyone but all the more impressive for a school leaver in his first role to complete a brand new and challenging apprentice scheme.

Matthew's success is a significant milestone in a 5 year journey that began with an original idea from Christina Lovelock to formalise an apprentice programme for the BA profession. The idea quickly gained support from 10 employers who regularly attend the BA Manager Forum.. Warner Bros were one of the original employers to help establish the BA apprenticeship programme so it is very fitting that they employ the first apprentice qualified under the scheme.

A huge 'well done' to Matthew and special thanks to all at Warner Bros and Jonathan Hunsley (the AssistKD mentor) for all their hard work over the last 18 months.
