The BCS Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis answer the question so often asked by BCS BA Diploma holders - "What comes next?" It also extends the BCS Business Analysis scheme to offer certifications across five levels of expertise; Foundation, Practitioner, Professional, Consultant and Expert. The professional and consultant levels will ensure that experience, specialism and expertise is recognised and complete career development path for all business analysts - from Entry level through to Practice Manager.
To be awarded the Advanced Diploma, candidates must fulfil the four requirements listed to the below.
All applicants must hold the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.
All applicants must have a minimum of five years of business analysis experience.
Applicants are required to demonstrate how they have contributed to the wider BA community. This may be through initiatives that are internal to their organisation or may be through involvement in external BA groups.
An applicant for the Advanced Diploma in Business Analysis must hold the following certifications:
- A BCS Professional Certification in each of the Analytical, Business and People Skills subjects
- An additional BCS Professional Certification in either an Analytical or Business Skills subject
- These certificate modules may be gained in any order and are described below
